Zero Caliber 2 is officially set to launch its PC VR remaster on October 30, 2025, bringing a major overhaul to the popular VR FPS from developer XREAL Games. While the sequel has been available on Quest since last year, this upcoming Steam release takes things to a whole new level with reworked gameplay, upgraded visuals, and fresh features.

Because of these extensive changes, crossplay with Quest won’t be possible. XREAL explained that the two versions are “simply not aligned in a way that crossplay would work.” However, the studio did note it hopes to bring some of the gameplay improvements over to Quest in the future, if technically feasible.
Zero Caliber 2 Remastered will continue offering a full campaign experience, playable solo or in four-player co-op, along with dedicated PvP modes. Alongside this remaster, the original Zero Caliber is heading to PlayStation VR2 in October, having already entered certification. Meanwhile, Zero Caliber: Reloaded will also be added to the Meta Horizon+ subscription next month. As for Zero Caliber 2 on PS VR2, XREAL is still targeting a holiday 2025 release.
