Kluge Interactive has officially launched the Synth Riders – Kendrick Lamar Experience on Meta Quest, Steam, and PlayStation VR2, following its initial exclusive release on the Apple Vision Pro earlier this year.
Debuting in February to coincide with Kendrick Lamar’s unforgettable Super Bowl LIX halftime show, this VR experience takes inspiration from the iconic 2017 music video Humble. Players are taken on a surreal journey from New Orleans to Los Angeles, navigating through energetic crowds and ultimately reaching their rightful place on the throne.
Originally tied to Apple Music’s Super Bowl sponsorship, Humble was locked into a timed exclusivity window for Vision Pro users. With that exclusivity now lifted, fans on other major VR platforms can immerse themselves in Lamar’s unique audiovisual world.
This release comes after a strong year of updates for Synth Riders. In May, the ‘90s Music Pack introduced tracks from legendary bands like Blur and Radiohead, while April’s Challenges+ update brought multiplayer-inspired mechanics like dodgeable missiles into single-player asynchronous challenges.
With Kendrick Lamar’s cultural influence and Synth Riders’ ever-evolving gameplay, this collaboration delivers a powerful and artistic VR rhythm experience.
