The wait is over—DrakkenRidge, a semi-open world VR fantasy adventure with a nostalgic retro style, has officially launched on Quest 3.
Developed by Garage Collective, DrakkenRidge casts you as a Novice of the Mage Order, an ancient organization sworn to regulate the use of magic. As part of your journey, you’ll also serve alongside a private militia, taking on the role of a Hunter to help maintain order across the mystical lands of the DrakkenRidge archipelago.
A World of Islands, Dungeons, and Secrets
Set across five distinct islands, DrakkenRidge offers a rich fantasy setting filled with exploration, side quests, and nine unique dungeons. Each dungeon presents its own challenges, combining puzzles, environmental interactions, and combat to test your skills as both a mage and a warrior.
Combat, Weapons & Abilities
The game features 20 different weapons, ranging from powerful rune-based spellcasting to traditional melee arms like swords and axes, as well as ranged options such as bows and arrows. As you progress, you can acquire new abilities by absorbing essences from bosses and fallen enemies, adding fresh layers to your combat strategy. Equipment upgrades are also available, allowing you to enhance your arsenal at the Hunter’s Lodge.
