Forefront, the large-scale VR FPS from Triangle Factory (creators of Breachers and Hyper Dash), is set to enter Early Access this fall, with a full release planned for 2026. Designed to deliver large-scale battles to VR, Forefront features 32-player matches, squad-based strategy, expansive maps, and intense vehicle combat across land, sea, and air.
Players will fight in massive environments, split into two factions with multiple four-player squads. Expect semi-destructible environments that evolve mid-battle, forcing you to rethink cover and positioning as firefights unfold.
Each role brings unique abilities, encouraging teamwork and tactical diversity.
Forefront is introducing 10 vehicles across land, water, and air, including armored transports and agile crafts. Players can wield an arsenal of 20+ weapons—shotguns, SMGs, pistols, RPGs, and more. Manual reloading offers immersive realism, while an auto-reload option is available for those who prefer it.
Full-body avatars, realistic interactions, and possible future mechanics like vaulting and prone positions aim to make Forefront one of the most immersive VR shooters yet.
Forefront launches this fall on Meta Quest, Steam, and Pico, with a full release coming in 2026.
