Bigscreen Beyond 2e Gets Special VRChat Edition With Atomic Purple Design

Bigscreen has announced an exciting new version of its premium PC VR headset — Bigscreen Beyond 2e VRChat Edition. This limited-edition model brings a nostalgic twist with its “Atomic Purple” translucent shell, inspired by the iconic tech designs of the 90s and early 2000s. The transparent design reveals internal circuitry and features a unique color-shifting effect under different lighting conditions, making it a true collector’s piece.

Exclusive VRChat Content Included

Bigscreen confirmed that anyone purchasing the VRChat Edition will receive exclusive digital items, badges, and stickers for VRChat, with additional perks planned for the future. While the exact details of these items remain under wraps, the company promises a more immersive social experience for VRChat fans.

Built-In Eye Tracking and Pricing

The VRChat Edition is available only for the Beyond 2e model, which comes equipped with integrated eye tracking sensors for enhanced VR experiences. If you’ve already placed an order for the standard 2e headset, Bigscreen allows you to switch to the VRChat Edition by contacting support, though this may affect your shipping schedule.

The Bigscreen Beyond 2e VRChat Edition is priced at $1269, matching the cost of the “Nuclear Orange” edition. It is expected to ship in September 2025. Buyers can choose between a custom-fit face pad or the Halo Mount, but note that the Halo Mount option may delay shipping to October.

Shipping Timeline and Compatibility

Like previous models, Bigscreen Beyond 2e is a tethered PC VR headset that works with SteamVR Tracking. It requires a powerful gaming PC and at least one, preferably two, tracking base stations from Valve or HTC. Additionally, users need separate VR controllers such as Valve Index controllers for input.

A Growing Partnership With VRChat

This isn’t the first collaboration between Bigscreen and VRChat. Previously, Bigscreen introduced a VRChat-themed storage can, styled like an energy drink, designed to store the original Beyond headset safely while doubling as a cool decorative item.

With the VRChat Edition, Bigscreen is clearly targeting the social VR community, offering a headset that combines high-end features with nostalgic aesthetics. For fans of VRChat looking to upgrade their experience, this is one of the most exciting announcements of the year.
