Step into the world of espionage with Unseen Diplomacy 2! Now available in early access on Quest 3 and Steam, this spy-themed VR adventure brings roomscale gameplay, gadgets, and procedurally generated missions.
A New Chapter in VR Espionage
Unseen Diplomacy 2 has officially launched in early access, promising players a fresh round of spy shenanigans in roomscale VR. Developed by Cornish studio Triangular Pixels, this sequel to the 2016 PC VR hit builds upon the original with bigger missions, improved mechanics, and new twists that make full use of modern VR hardware.
After teasing its return earlier this year, the game is finally available for both Quest 3 and SteamVR, with plenty of espionage adventures waiting for players.
Why Early Access?
Although the launch build is feature-complete, Triangular Pixels chose to release the game in early access. Their goal is to:
- Gather community feedback
- Refine mechanics and balance difficulty
- Enhance performance and accessibility
- Polish gameplay across different room setups and playstyles
The developers also confirmed that early access won’t last long. Version 1.0 will add:
- More missions
- Multiple endings
- Varied and challenging scenarios
- Further optimizations for all players
Gameplay: Spy Mastermind in Action
In Unseen Diplomacy 2, you take on the role of a spymaster leading an elite agency. Missions involve sneaking through enemy bases, stealing intel, sabotaging operations, and escaping without being caught.
To aid your mission, you’ll have access to a variety of spy gadgets while also managing your agency through tactical deployment of operatives. Adding to the experience, the Quest 3 version introduces a mixed reality mode, letting players blend the real world with their virtual spy adventures.
