The Exorcist: Legion VR Brings Horror to Meta Horizon Worlds

Fans of VR horror have something new to scream about—The Exorcist: Legion VR now has its very own official world inside Meta Horizon Worlds.

Launched just two weeks ago and freshly updated, this chilling new world joins the growing lineup of themed experiences on Meta’s social platform, sitting alongside recent additions like McDonaldland VR. But instead of burgers and fries, this one serves up pure terror with a side of adrenaline.

A Church, A Parkour Course, and Plenty of Fear

The virtual world features a painstaking recreation of the game’s iconic church—complete with eerie lighting, atmospheric detail, and… a parkour course. Yes, you read that right. Players can dash, jump, and climb their way through an intense obstacle run, all set within the haunting church environment.

“We’ve built an intense parkour course right inside a detailed recreation of the famous church from The Exorcist. Race against the clock, test your skills, and uncover hidden rewards at every turn,” said Fun Train, the game’s publisher.

Explorers are rewarded for their bravery too—simply visiting the world gets you a 10% discount code for the full game on Quest, and completing the parkour course bumps that up to a 33% discount.

A Horror Classic That Keeps Evolving

Originally released on Steam in 2017 by Wolf & Wood, The Exorcist: Legion VR was praised for its “sheer sense of terror” and gripping episodic storytelling. Since then, it’s been expanded with multiple updates, including a Quest 3 upgrade and a chilling epilogue released last year.

While fans are still eagerly awaiting the sequel, The Exorcist: Legion VR SIN, this new Horizon Worlds experience keeps the original alive and relevant for today’s VR audience.

Where to Play

The Exorcist: Legion VR world is live now in Meta Horizon Worlds. The original game is available on Meta Quest, PC VR, Pico, PSVR, and PS VR2.

Whether you’re here for the horror or just to show off your parkour skills, this is one haunted church you won’t want to miss.
